page is a different colour risograph print. It has a way different feel to it than anything and the colours really lend themselves to the photos. ZINE GAME WITHOUT CHUNKY MANE
Chunks is off being an international playboy this week, so I’m gonna put him on blast by pointing out that his new zine, FINAL BOSS, is tight as fuck.
It’s a split with Chunks/ Tobin Reid, and calling it a zine doesn’t even feel right. This is some extra-next-level crazy design shit made just for a melancholy thug like me. If you have a dark sense of humor and appreciate rare coolness and/or fine craftsmanship, then you should go get one. It’s a real brain-bender. It also does that awesome thing where there’s two different covers (one on each side), and then it flips over in the middle. Is there a name for that? That shit’s hot.
Alright, I’m not as good at this as Chunky Mane, so hopefully he makes it back to the motherland safely for next week.

I had the recent pleasure of getting to trade with this dude Andrew, a fellow Canadian. I’ve never met the guy but this zine gives me a lil taste of what he’s all about! A really clean xerox zine with babes, graffiti, hardcore shows, street debauchery. Just what I like! This is a low run of 20 copies, so get on this dude and see if he has any left… And he packed the envelope with stickers, patches and pins, and I’m sure he’ll do the same for you!

I’ve had this zine for a few years, I bought it at antisocial skateshop in Vancouver when I lived out there. Its all sharpie illustrations in the urban rap letter graffiti styling. It says its a compilation in the back, but no info other than that. This zine is rad, I flip through it all the time. I wish I knew who made it. If you know, hit me up! Knowledge!

Black is Beautiful #5 by Allister Lee
Black is Beautiful is a zine all about black marker culture. Allister Lee is a designer and marker collector, and his website is a growing compendium of different black markers both old and new. Black is Beautiful #5 is laid out like a quasi-comic, with the characters all different types of black markers. There is some beautiful illustration in here and the whole thing is bubble jet printed on some weird thick packing paper. Really different! Hit up Allister and see if hes holding on to any more of these. Get one in your hands or you’re gonna be bummed!

This is just a real no nonsense black and white xerox zine. Good photos! Hood rat shit, bong rips, graffiti, babes, what more could you want! This one has a real hand made feel. Came with some great stickers stamped and hand made, and some nice buttons. I got mine from Needles + Pens but they’re limited to 100 so don’t wait. Do you have something better to spend 10 bucks on?
